1. I started my brand Single Black Chick in 2014 after my worst NYE date ever. I knew I was frustrated but yet hopeful, and I realized a lot of my frustration for being single came from the pressure of society making being single a curse. I chose to choose happiness in my life and encourage other single women to do the same. I realize that you could never be in a healthy relationship or marriage without being single (being whole and complete) first. 

2. My publishing and speaking brand CHICKDOM was launched in 2018 when I published the first book in an anticipated book series titled: #KICKASS: A Chick's Guide To Living A KICK-ASS Life! 

3. I  have a passion for empowering women and village creating within the sisterhood. My brands Single Black CHICK and CHICKdom emphasizes the power of CHICK; all of my brands reflect a powerful message of the future is female. 

4. To date, it was when I was invited to host a booth and conduct a seminar on self-love repressing both my brands Single Black CHICK and CHICKDOM at the Black Women's Expo in Chicago which is the second-largest black women's expo in the US.

5. My ideal reader is women between 25-45 who are looking to be empowered and inspired while still being sassy, sexy, and fabulous!
